Man accused of sending sexual content to undercover cop

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Rochester man is accused of sending a girl he believed to be 14-year-old girl sexual content over the internet.

David SanAngelo was arrested after a several months long investigation by police in the Town of Tonawanda and Newark, a town east of Rochester. Police say the 44-year-old participated in communication with an undercover police officer he believed to be a teenaged girl on an online chat program, and through a web cam, sending the officer indecent material.

Police served a search warrant at his residence, where computers and other electronic devices were seized. He was arrested on several counts of disseminating indecent materials.

SanAngelo was arraigned and released on bail. The case will now go before an Erie County grand jury. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
