CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Lancaster woman was arrested for DWI after her vehicle was found late Wednesday night in a McDonald’s parking lot on Transit Road in Clarence.
State Police were called about an erratic driver around 11:15 p.m. and the concerned caller provided a description of the vehicle and a license plate number. Troopers found the vehicle in a McDonald’s parking lot and say the driver, Jessica Gramza, failed field sobriety tests. The 24-year-old reportedly had a BAC of .22 percent.
A witness told police that Gramza had collided with another vehicle on Transit Road, but could only provide a brief description of the other car. Gramza’s vehicle did have slight damage consistent with a front end collision, but no other police departments received reports of an accident in the area.
Gramza is charged with DWI, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance not in the original container.
She is due back in Town of Clarence Court at a later date.
