“Comedy of Errors” plays through August 17

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Shakespeare in the Park opened its second show of the season Thursday night.

“Comedy of Errors” is free to the public and runs every evening, except Mondays, through August 17. The show takes place on Shakespeare Hill in Delaware Park next to Hoyt Lake.

Earlier this summer, Shakespeare in Delaware Park offered “Henry V.”

In June, Managing Director Lisa Ludwig said, “Generally each year we do two separate types of shows. One is done traditionally, which tonight, Shakespeare’s “Henry V” is done very traditional. Then our second offering this year, which is “Comedy of Errors,” is going to be done with a little steam punk twist.”

Shakespeare in Delaware Park is the second largest outdoor Shakespeare festival in the country, behind only New York City.
