Armed man robs Amherst Jim’s Steakout

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB)- Amherst Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Jim’s Steakout early Saturday morning.

Lt. Ratzel tells News 4 that the suspect entered and exited the Sheridan Drive and Sweet Home Road location through the back door.

The suspect is a 6 foot tall black male with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie, camouflage shorts and high top sneakers. He was also wearing red and black scarf.

The suspect got away with money and an employee’s mountain bike.
