One male in custody following police emergency

LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) – Lewiston police asked residents to avoid the area of James Drive Saturday afternoon due to a police emergency.

According to Lewiston Police, mental health threats were made from a male in his residence in the 1000 block of James Dr.

The male subject was taken into police custody a little after 3 p.m.

The Lewiston Police Department, Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and NYS police worked together to reach a resolution.
