AAA seeks to hire full- and part-time auto techs

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – AAA of Western and Central New York is hosting a job fair Saturday seeking to hire auto repair technicians and emergency roadside service technicians.

The automotive job fair is Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the AAA Emergency Roadside Service Operations Center, 505 Duke Road, Suite 500, in Cheektowaga.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. In addition, candidates for auto repair technician need a NYS Inspection Certificate, a valid NYS driver’s license, and ASE certifications.

The automotive agency, which serves 860,000 members in Upstate New York, says it is looking ahead to the winter season in accepting applications for full- and part-time work now. Specifically, AAA says it is seeking Roadside Problem Solver Technicians, Tow Technicians, and Automotive Repair Technicians.
