The Alden Correctional Facility and inmates from the Services Action Corps have been cultivating flowers and hanging baskets from seeds. They donated them to community organizations, senior centers and block clubs.

Tuesday, two dozen flat plants were donated to the Glenwood Avenue Block Club. The Block Club President was on hand to thank Undersheriff Mark Wipperman.
