Bacteria count closes Olcott Beach

OLCOTT, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Niagara County Health Department has once again closed down Olcott Beach.

Officials say the water is not safe because of high levels of bacteria. Swimming is currently off-limits.

The advisory remains in effect until further testing shows bacteria levels have dropped.
