Man accused of throwing phone in pool during dispute


SHELBY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Lockport man is facing charges after an alleged domestic dispute that left his girlfriend injured.

State Police say 32-year-old Jamie Kilbury’s girlfriend hurt her knee during a physical altercation with him on July 13 in the Town of Shelby. Police say Kilbury took his girlfriend’s phone and threw it into a nearby pool when she said she was going to call police.

Kilbury was arrested for felony second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
