VERSAILLES, N.Y. (WIVB) – A mother and daughter are facing assault charges after allegedly attacking their neighbor two weeks ago.

State Police say Elizabeth Crouse, 43, and her 24-year-old daughter, Raquel, got into a fight with the victim’s 22-year-old daughter at a home on Burning Springs Road in Versailles.

When the confrontation escalated, the victim says she told the Crouses to get off her property. She then stepped in to break up a fight between her daughter the Crouses and says she was assaulted.

By the time officers arrived, the Crouses had left and the victim was taken to Lake Shore Hospital to be treated.

Arrest warrants were issued and Elizabeth and Raquel were arrested Thursday on charges of third degree assault and trespass.

Both are due back in Town of Perrysburg Court at a later date. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
