CANTON, OHIO (WIVB) –Former Bills wide receiver Andre Reed showed his emotion on Friday in Canton, Ohio as he put on his gold jacket for the first time. On Saturday he will be the tenth Bills representative to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“You are not introduced as Andre Reed,” Reed explained. “You are hall-of-famer Andre Reed for the rest of your life and that brings credence, and that brings an attitude and that brings inspiration to people all over the country.
Reed is joined in Canton this week by many of his former teammates, including hall-of-fame quarterback Jim Kelly. After putting on the gold jacket, Reed hugged Kelly, which was a powerful moment for all those watching.
