Woman accused of setting 11 fires appears in court

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A woman accused in a string of arsons in North Tonawanda returned to court on Friday.

Michelle Johnston appeared for a felony hearing but then the judge and the lawyers agreed to call that off and scheduled a pretrial conference for August 21.

Johnston is accused of setting eleven fires on 5th Avenue, including one at her own home.
