Woman accused of violating order of protection

BROCTON, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Fredonia woman was arrested last week after allegedly violating an order of protection.

State Police say Mereline Pegelow went to the victim’s home in the Village of Brocton last Thursday, parked her vehicle out front and knocked on the door and window while the victim was inside.

The 59-year-old was arrested and charged with second degree contempt. She is due back in court later this month.
