Neighbors get to know each other during National Night Out

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – During National Night Out, Americans get to know the people of their neighborhoods.

Several events took place across Western New York, including one at the Cazenovia library in South Buffalo. Residents not only got to know their neighbors, they also got to meet the police and firefighters who protect them.

The event included talks, demonstrations and informational exhibits, as well as a range of activities for children. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
