COLDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Erie County man with a long criminal history is now accused of a string of thefts in the town of Colden and Holland.
Ryann Skiver, 28, of Concord is facing seven felonies, including grand larceny for items valued greater than $50,000, burglary and two misdemeanors.
The sheriff’s office says Skiver is responsible for a string of thefts going back to April 2014 and he stole credit cards, tools, medical equipment, prescription drugs, cell phones, laptops and personal documents with confidential data on them.
Deputies do not believe Skiver acted alone. Charles Hecht, 28, of Gowanda is being sought on four felony and two misdemeanor charges relating to the burglaries in Erie County.
New York State Police and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office believe that Skiver and Hecht are responsible for series of other incidents in Western New York.
Skiver is currently being held on the Erie County Holding Center on $35,000 bail.
