Channel 4 Day at Erie County Fair

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – Thursday is Channel 4 Day at the 175th Erie County Fair. Admission for the day is just $4 and parking is $4.

The fair runs through August 17 in Hamburg. The gates open at 9 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. each day. Regular admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, kids 12 and under are free. Regular parking is $5.

You can park for free at the Erie Community College South Campus any weekend and take a shuttle to and from the gate.

Fun cards are also available and reloadable to ride rides for a discount.

Other activities and attractions this year include livestock inside the new agriculture discovery center, Kachunga the alligator show, Stars of the Perkins Acrobats, Swifty Swine Racing pigs and of course, all that glorious fair food.

Nik Wallenda will perform Skyway this Sunday, longer than the one he completed over Niagara Falls. It will be his longest walk of 2014.

Winging It! Buffalo Style will air live from the fair next week. You can catch the show live from at 3 p.m. on Channel 4 on Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12.
