WNY native injured in Ft. hood shooting meets President Obama


KANSAS CITY, MO (WIVB) – The Western New York native who was injured in the attack at Fort Hood got to take picture with President Barack Obama.

Army Major Patrick Miller met President Obama last week at an event in Kansas City, Missouri. The President was there to give a speech on the economy.

Miller said he had a chance to talk with Obama. He also said he’ll be back in Western New York in September for the Buffalo Bills home opener.

The Army Major was last in Western New York in July, when he was given a hero’s welcome at the airport and his hometown of Allegany.
