Two arrested for $12,000 Grand Island burglary

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Two Grand Island residents were arrested Wednesday for burglary and other felonies and misdemeanors.

Erie County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Robert Rovison Jr., 18, and James “Little Jimmy” Mysliwiec, 21. Both men are accused of forcibly entering through an outside door and then kicking in a bedroom door at a Grand Island residence.

Rovison and Mysliwiec are accused of stealing jewelry, a shotgun and rifle, a gun case, a laptop, $4,000 cash and a $5,000 statue.

Rovison and Mysliwiec have been charged with 2nd degree burglary, 3rd degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Both men are also charged with one count of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
