Man empties register at appliance store

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police are looking for the public’s help in locating the man who robbed an appliance store last week.

On August 3 around noon, a man entered Appliance Outlet on Broadway in Buffalo and emptied the register.


The suspect is described as black, around 6′ tall. He was wearing grey-white and blue checkered shorts and a Notre Dame jacket.

The man looks strikingly similar to a suspect wanted in Cheektowaga for the attempted armed robbery of the Family Dollar on Genesee Street. That incident also took place on August 3, but in the morning.


The Family Dollar is about three miles away from Appliance Outlet.
