Salvatore unveils new memorial outside his restaurant

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – On Wednesday, local restaurateur Russell Salvatore unveiled a new memorial at his Patriot and Heroes Park outside his Williamsville restaurants.

The World War II memorial recognizes the “Battle of the Bulge” and was created by artist Donald Parrino. The prominent businessman installed the new memorial in his park Wednesday, which is located in front of Salvatore’s Grand Hotel & Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More on Transit Road.

The park also features memorials to the victims of Flight 3407 and 9/11, a tribute to local law enforcement, and a statue of Michael the Archangel.
