Voters must mail in registrations by 8/15

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – All New York State residents who want to register to vote for the September 9 primary election need to have their mail-in voter registration forms postmarked by midnight August 15.

The forms must be received by the board of elections by August 20.

There are several primary contests, both statewide and local. You can check the candidate and party list on the State Board of Elections’ website.

The voter registration form can be downloaded from here: www.elections.ny.gov
