OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Olean Police are looking for leads in the murder of Otis Lamont Parks, whose body was found down an embankment near a scenic overlook last week.

Parks, 54, who is also known as Lamont Clemons, was the father of three children. His body was found by a Pennsylvania couple a week ago, Friday morning, off Route 16 South in the Town of Allegany.

Police say that Parks was known to stay with his 85-year-old uncle, Walter Peterson, who told police that the victim had served time in jail and been involved in drugs.

Parks was last seen around 8 p.m. Thursday by Peterson before Peterson went to bed.
