POMFRET, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Police say a woman with three active bench warrants tried to give troopers a false name when she was stopped on suspicion of driving drunk.

Troopers pulled Daniela McGaughy of Jamestown over after witnessing her tailgate another vehicle and cross over the fog line on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret. Police say the 28-year-old was drunk and had a BAC of .09 percent.

When McGaughy was first questioned, troopers say she provided a false name and date of birth. She was placed into custody for DWI, second degree criminal impersonation and moving from lane unsafely.

During processing, police found she is wanted for failing to pay fines for obstruction of governmental administration, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation.

She was turned over to Jamestown Police.
