BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Fenner Precision’s Buffalo facility is slated to close at the end of 2014, unless a commercial buyer can be found before then.

The Kensington Avenue company notified its 60 employees about the decision earlier this week. The closure is expected to take several months and employees can stay with the company until they close.

Ray Rutkowski, President/Managing Director of Fenner Precision, said this isn’t a reflection of the employees and their valuable contributions.

“We have a committed, hard-working team of employees in Buffalo, and we understand the effect this will have on them,” said Rutkowski in a prepared statement. “We are grateful for their service to our company and we will work closely with them during this transition.”
