DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two people are under arrest and two others are being sought after a drug bust by Dunkirk Police and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Officers conducted extensive surveillance at an apartment on Grant Avenue after receiving complaints of drug-activity from neighbors. Detectives raided the home around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday after a search warrant was issued.
Inside, Kayle Hoffman, 21, and Yanira Corraliza-Maestre, 20, were taken into custody. Hoffman is charged with third and fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance while Corraliza-Maestre is charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say they found several hundred dollars worth of crack cocaine, packaged for sale, scales, packaging materials, and a significant amount of cash in the apartment.
Two other suspects are still being sought. Antoine Jones, 35, and Shamaar Braggs, 33, are wanted on felony warrants for third degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
