Apartment fire spreads through home, displacing three


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A fire at a two-story apartment home on Friday has left three people without a home.

The fire broke out around 2 a.m. in the back apartment of a home on Townsend Street, which is on Buffalo’s east side between Peckham and William.

No one lived in the back apartment. The fire spread to the front, where three people lived. Everyone got out safely.

There are not details on what sparked the blaze, which caused $45,000 in damage.
