Spikes for Tykes to take over Woodlawn Beach

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – You can support a charity this weekend that means a lot to NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.

Sunday between noon and 5 p.m., hundreds will come out as coed volleyball teams cover the sand at Woodlawn Beach for the Buffalo Spikes for Tykes fundraiser.

There will be a silent auction with signed Buffalo Bills jerseys like these from Hall of Famers Kelly and Andre Reed, and newer players like Sammy Watkins and EJ Manuel.

Tickets are $35 and include a five-hour open bar, food and live music.

Ryan Stang is the founder of Buffalo Spikes for Tykes. He has helped raise $80,000 for the Kelly for Kids Foundation in the last four years.
