Buffalo Zoo to host Bowling for Rhinos

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Your strikes and spares can help save rhinos.

The Buffalo Zoo is hosting its annual Bowling for Rhinos event Friday night at Transit Lanes in Williamsville, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There is a record number of bowlers registered for this year’s event. It includes bowling, a visit from the Zoo’s Hank the Tank rhino mascot, auctions, rhino-themed cocktails and more.

The event will help raise awareness about the challenges wild rhinos face. They are endangered in Africa and Asia because of poaching.
