Armed men hold up Amherst credit union


AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – A credit union on Sweet Home Road was held up on Friday, according to Amherst Police.

Detectives say two men entered Sweet Home Federal Credit Union about 4:30 p.m. They say one of the men had a gun.

Police say one of the men demanded money, and one of the men was disguised in a beard, hat and glasses.

The robbers got away with some cash.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call them at 716-689-1340.
