Cops to stake out Dunkin’ Donuts for a cause

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Local law enforcement will be staking out Dunkin’ Donuts locations across Western New York on Tuesday.

Officers are teaming up with the coffee chain for “Cops on Top,” a benefit for Special Olympics New York. Law enforcement will take part in a sit-in on the roof at certain Dunkin’ Donuts locations from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Here’s a list of locations:

5165 Main St. in Williamsville
5073 Camp Rd. in Hamburg
5760 Transit Rd. in Depew
6601 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Niagara Fall
2260 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Wheatfield
598 Main St. in Buffalo
2340 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo
1145 Union Rd. in West Seneca

Guests who make a monetary donation to the Special Olympics will receive a coupon for a free coffee as a thank you. Guests who make a $50 donation get a free pound of coffee, and two free pounds of coffee with a $100 donation.
