POMFRET, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man was arrested at Denny’s on Saturday after deputies say he caused a disturbance inside the restaurant.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was called to Denny’s on Bennett Road in Pomfret around 7:30 p.m. on reports of a man using foul language who refused to leave after being asked to by the manager.

Authorities say Kevin Bellardo did end up leaving the restaurant, but afterwards spit on the seat of a patron’s motorcycle.

When deputies arrived, they saw the 18-year-old continuing to cause a disturbance and use obscene language. Deputies say they told Bellardo he was being placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, and he then tried to pull away from his wrist restraints.

Bellardo was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He’s due back in court at a later date.
