Airport unveils new retail, food and beverage options

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Passengers flying in and out of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport can enjoy new retail and food and beverage options that were unveiled Tuesday.

Delaware North invested $3.8 million to bring high-end items to travelers at the airport.

“We realize that we are the first stop for many guests visiting the Buffalo-Niagara region and we wanted to introduce local menu items and affordable luxury brands to the millions of travelers we host each year,” said Rich Johnson, General Manager of Delaware North Travel Hospitality Services at the airport.

2014 retail and food and beverage additions include:

Jet Set (two locations) – providing convenience items, books, magazines, and Buffalo-themed gifts.

5th & Main – providing high-end and luxury retail brands such as Tumi, Vera Bradley, Pandora, Vince Camuto, as well as luxury sunglasses by brands such as Ray Ban.

Queen City Kitchen – featuring roast prime rib, fresh-carved turkey breast, and fresh-baked cookies and Danish. Omelets are made-to-order using fresh-cracked eggs. Rolls and breads are provided by Costanzo’s Bakery, a Cheektowaga-based and family-owned bakery.
