Bills pick up another punter

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo Bills added another punter Tuesday, after being awarded Jordan Gay on waivers from the Carolina Panthers.

Gay also handled kickoff duties for the Panthers in the preseason, which could be an option in Buffalo as well. The Bills released kicker Dustin Hopkins Monday, who was working exclusively as a kickoff specialist.

Buffalo had an open roster spot, after placing linebacker Kiko Alonso on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list earlier in the day. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
