Deputies: Drunk driver arrested after driving too slowly

RED HOUSE, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies say they spotted a drunk driver because she was driving too slowly on I-86.

Around 11 p.m. on Sunday, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies pulled over Norma Harrison for going 36 mph on I-86 in the Town of Red House.

Officers say the 34-year-old woman from Steamburg was weaving in her lane before being pulled to the side of the road. A breath test reportedly revealed Harrison had a BAC that was two times the legal limit.

Harrison was arrested and charged with DWI and driving too slowly. She is due back in court next month. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
