Police find stolen clothing during traffic stop

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two Niagara Falls men were arrested after State Police say they found stolen clothing in their vehicle during a traffic stop.

Troopers pulled over Joshua Torres on Rt. 62 and say they found the 32-year-old’s driver’s license had been revoked. Inside the vehicle, police say they found a bag of clothing stolen from several stores and used hypodermic needles.

Torres and his passenger, 36-year-old Matthew Porter, were both arrested and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Torres was additionally charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.
