Woman accused of forging prescription

RANDOLPH, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Randolph woman is accused of forging a prescription that was stolen from a local doctor.

Troopers say Lindsay Brown tried to fill a prescription at a pharmacy, and was turned away because there was no amount indicated. The 23-year-old is accused of returning a short time later, after the doctor “fixed” the prescription and added a high dosage amount.

Brown was arrested August 18 and charged with possession of a forged instrument and grand larceny, both felonies. She was arraigned in the Town of Randolph Court.
