Man accused of possessing stolen copper

OAKFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Oakfield man is accused of possessing copper wiring stolen from buses parked at a business on Townline Road.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office said 29-year-old Jeremy Dean Lyons was arraigned Wednesday on a third-degree criminal possession of stolen property charge in Batavia Town Court, and remanded into custody on $50,000 bail.
