Man accused of selling drugs on the southern tier

WELLSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies arrested an Allegany County man Friday after a lengthy investigation into drug sales in the Village of Wellsville.

Investigators say Joshua Williams of Andover sold illegal narcotics and marijuana to an agent working with the sheriff’s office.

The 28-year-old is charged with fifth degree criminal possession and third degree criminal sale of marijuana, and third degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance.

Williams is being held without bail pending further court action.
