JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Most events making up the 35th Annual Labor Day Festival in Jamestown are being postponed from Sunday to Monday because of the weather.
Members of the Festival Committee met Sunday, then posted on the city’s website that all events making up the festival except the Dan Feather Memorial 5k Run/Walk will take place Monday instead of Sunday as originally planned.
Committee members decided the risk of thunderstorms is too great for visitors on Sunday, and is less on Monday.
See a full list of events here. Other events include an arts & crafts fair at 11:00 a.m., music on the main stage from noon to 8:30 p.m. and on the second stage from noon to 6:00 p.m. and a food court which opens at noon.
