Farm truck rolls down incline, strikes and kills worker

ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man was killed during a farm accident Friday in the Town of Albion.

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office was called to Kirby Farms around 6 p.m. were the victim, tentatively identified as Luis D. Larios-Hernandez, age unknown, became pinned between two vehicles.

Larios-Hernandez was a migrant worker who was on a work crew from Root Brothers Farms. The crew was irrigating a field of tomato plants, when a parked and unoccupied farm truck rolled down a slight incline and struck him, pinning him between two vehicles.
