Catt. County SPCA waiving adoption fees during event

OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Ahead of scheduled renovations this fall, the SPCA in Cattaraugus County is holding an “Empty the Shelter” event.

On September 13 and 14, all spayed and neutered dogs and cats will be adopted out to good homes free-of-charge after an adoption application has been approved.

The shelter will undergo renovations this fall and officials explain no animals can be at the facility during the work.

The SPCA in Cattaraugus County at 2944 Rt. 16 in Olean will be open September 13 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and September 14 through 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The organization is also seeking foster homes for animals during renovations. Interested parties can call 716-372-8492.
