Man with prior DWI conviction accused of driving without license

POMFRET, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Cassadaga man with a prior DWI conviction is facing several charges after being stopped by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies early Wednesday morning.

Michael Foster, 50, was stopped on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret. Due to a prior DWI conviction, Foster’s license was revoked and he is supposed to have an ignition interlock device in his vehicle.

He was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without an interlock device, unlicensed operation, inadequate headlights, expired inspection and failure to notify DMV of address change.
