Two accused of making meth in Olean

OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two people were arrested after a raid in Olean uncovered a suspected meth lab.

In a joint operation involving several law enforcement agencies, officers executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home on West Riverside Drive. Richard Wall, 44, and Carey Peden, 37, were both taken into custody and are facing a long list of charges.

Both are charged with third degree unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine. Wall was additionally charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and Peden also faces charges of resisting arrest, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and false personation.

The suspects were held pending arraignment.
