City residents can dispose of e-waste on weekends

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The city is reminding Buffalo residents of a monthly opportunity to get rid of their unwanted electronics for proper disposal.

Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month, residents can bring their e-waste to the engineering garage at 1120 Seneca Street. September 6 is this month’s opportunity to properly dispose of electronic items.

Though the weekend opportunity is once a month, residents can always turn in their e-waste for recycling Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the garage. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
