BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The last remaining lawsuit in the crash of Flight 3407 is set to finally move forward.
The family of Doug Wielinski is suing Continental, Colgan and Pinnacle Airlines. Jury selection starts Tuesday.
Wielinski was killed when Flight 3407 crashed into the Wielinski home in Clarence Center in 2009. The two sides differ on whether he died instantly.
Wielinski’s wife Karen and daughter Jill were also home at the time of the crash but survived.
The airlines settled all other lawsuits related to the crash of Flight 3407 before going to trial.
