Man accused of sending texts, FB posts to former classmates

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Lockport man is facing charges for sending unwanted text messages and Facebook posts to former classmates, according to State Police.

Troopers arrested 18-year-old Richard Powell last Tuesday for second degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor. After being arraigned in Town of Lockport Court, he was taken to Niagara County Jail on $500 bail.

Police did not say what Powell was sending to former classmates.
