The Latest 4Warn Forecast from Meteorologist Don Paul:
A more southerly flow will develop overnight, keeping readings considerably milder than last night, when some pockets of frost did develop. Sunshine will be limited on a breezy & warmer Saturday, with almost summerlike temperatures inland from the Lake Erie shoreline and Niagara River. The breeze will be gusty, and much later Saturday night showers & possible tshowers will move in from the west, out ahead of an approaching cold front.
Showers will be numerous on Sunday morning, with some thunder still possible, but those showers should become more intermittent as the day goes along. A brisk breeze may diminish by mid/late afternoon, as cooler air begins to filter in behind a cold front. A cool air mass will be in place early next week. However, after Sunday night we will enter a prolonged dry stretch. By late in the week, the pattern will bring warm and pleasant conditions to our region. Those who had frost this morning will likely qualify for Indian Summer conditions by next Friday and especially the weekend.
