St. Francis remains undefeated

Korldell Holness-Lightbody scores touchdown against Alden.

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) — On Saturday afternoon Kenmore West hosted Lockport at Crosby Field. Kenmore West shutout Lockport 27-0. The Blue Devils’ DeAngelo Walker-Johnson scored a one-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Captain Jayson Taylor took the football into the endzone for the 2-point conversion as the Blue Devils went up 8-0. No points were scored in the second and third quarters by either team. Walker-Johnson and Taylor both ran in touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Darahn Rainey intercepted Lockport and returned the football for a touchdown for the final score of the game.

St. Francis hosted Alden on Saturday night. The Red Raiders won 42-21 and are now 3-0 on the season. Quarterback Jerry Hickson threw 13-of-22 for 257 yards and three touchdowns. Kordell Holness-Lightbody, referred to by his coach as highlight, had 4 receptions for 112 yards and two touchdowns to help lead St. Francis the victory. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
