Police recover stolen equipment, arrest pair

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two men have been arrested on charges they were in possession of landscaping equipment that was stolen over from the summer.

State Police say they received a report in July that multiple pieces of equipment valued at over $1,000 were stolen from West Jackson Street in the Town of Lockport. Their investigation led them to Bryan Sullivan, 38, and Scott French, 29.

Troopers say they recovered the stolen equipment. Sullivan is charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, while French is charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

Both are due back in court later this month.
