Alleged ISIS recruiter from Rochester due in court

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Rochester man accused of helping ISIS terrorists is expected in court Wednesday. The FBI arrested Mufid Elfgeeh last month.

Investigators say he not only tried to recruit fighters for ISIS, but also plotted to kill returning US soldiers.

Prosecutors are working on translating videos, pictures and other files from Elfgeeh’s 13 Facebook accounts.
